I wanted to paint a sky that was much more calm and more nuanced in colors the more you looked at it. The word “Glory” can mean so many different things to different people. Achievements, magnificent, beauty, honor, pride, worship, etc. For me, I wanted to create a feeling of peace, comfort, beauty, and truly just honor in my paint with texture and paint strokes. I love how this painting turned out and the warmth to the gold frame just adds the perfect amount of honor to this painting about Glory.
