Get Over Your Hill
ORIGINAL
"Get Over Your Hill” - (Original) Conté crayon on fine art paper
I loved creating these conté crayon studies on paper as I explored the topic of Heaven and Earth. I always love the imagery of life being like a hike with hills, rocks, and bumps. I also think of this phrase with a bit of a sense of humor, “climb a hill, build a bridge, and get over it!” when someone is complaining about something. So when I think about getting over my hills I think of things in life that bother me that I have to choose to move past. This can also apply to big trials in our life. This drawing is partly a little joke but mostly an empowering image of saying you can get over any hill.
“Get Over Your Hill'“ is roughly 11” x 14” in size and is framed with a metal gold frame measuring 16x20 in size and a white mat floating behind the piece of work. *you can choose framed or unframed version of this sketch
