Healing in His Wings

I created this painting for the Work and Wonder Magazine and titled it after the series “Healing in His Wing”. I constantly feel healing through Christ especially after the year we’ve had. As I was creating this piece I was looking at the hundreds of colors and shades on my palette and was reminded that I believe God sends and guides and works through people to help heal us. People of all different colors and personalities and talents to help heal and lift us up and show us daily miracles in our lives. Even though from afar this painting looks mostly one pink hue, it is made up of hundreds of shades.

What miracles and guidance we have seen already, everywhere around us so that we can use technology to work or do school from home, or have our groceries delivered to us, or to have a vaccine here and already on its way to so many of us!! Through Christ, we can not only be healed spiritually but physically to! I believe God has influence in all of our lives and we are God’s children so of course we have that power in us as well!

The healing power of Christ is a free gift for everyone and I am so grateful for it in my life!
