“Through Cloud and Sunshine” - Original Oil Painting
I have had this tapestry for over a year now and have been so excited to finally paint something on it. I couldn’t think of a better thing to paint on it than some gorgeous fluffy, heavenly clouds. The title of this painting comes from the Hymn “Abide with Me.” “Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me.” For as long as I can remember anytime I see the sun streaming through the clouds, or when I see the glorious complex shapes of clouds I always see God. It is the closest image I can think of what heaven looks like and it reminds me that through dark times and light times, God is always there. Through cloud and through sunshine, the Lord will abide with us.
“Through Cloud and Sunshine” is painted with Oil on a thick tapestry style canvas that is sewn to long dark wooden dowels with a mauve colored natural dyed silk ribbon. Tapestry measures roughly 20” x 36”
All oil paintings have been varnished with a UV protective varnish that keeps safe from fading, dust, or damage. All originals will receive a certificate of authenticity written and signed by me.
“Through Cloud and Sunshine” is printed on wonderful flat fine art quality matte paper with a giclée large scale professional printer.
