Social media can put a literal filter on things. While I love social media for so many reasons, mainly because its how I can show this entire collection to you from your phones, comparison syndrome can sneak in very quickly.
This painting is called “Hidden Struggles” because it is about not always seeing what is on the inside of someone's real life. And even our own life, we can have a seemingly “perfect” life full of privilege and blessings and still have struggles, depression, anxiety, stress, and sadness amongst all the beauty.
This painting is a reminder that we all have struggles that can be masked. Which is another reminder to be kind not only to others, but to be kind to yourself!
